The Ceres 440 has some features to ensure accurate planting in less than no time: 

• A high precision planting element with moving floor, electrical agitators and adjustable tuber guiding channel
• Robust frame with parallel set up for accurate depth control
• Automatic planter control which adjusts bunker height, ridging hood pressure, anti-erosion system…
• Row-independent planting element drive with 4 hydraulic motors

This allows:

• An accurate planting distance for perfect spacing between tubers
• Single tuber selection, no misses no doubles
• Central drop zone for accurate tuber placement in the middle of the ridge
• A variety of seed potato sizes, small and large
• Easy adjustment of tuber depth
