AVR Connect
AVR Connect
Description
An online reporting tool for your machine activities, and in the next level an online collection system for all your machine data, both on and off the field.
Why choose AVR Connect?
Our customer Jacob Van den Borne explains the added value AVR Connect offers in the day-to-day operation of his business.
Measure to manage: cost-effective cultivation
AVR Connect offers you more data and consequently a more effective use of your machine and resources.
- Applying precision farming techniques makes your work more efficient, leading to lower costs.
- Statistics provide insight into improvement opportunities
- Easy access using your e-mail address and password
- Personal, safe and user-friendly platform
How does it work?
AVR harvesters and planting machines can be connected to the internet, which allows for machine data to be transmitted to AVR Connect. This allows you to keep easily and automatically track of what is happening in the field in your FMIS. This way, your planting and harvesting activities can be aligned even better.
- The machines are equipped with technical and agronomical sensors.
- As far as the planting machine is concerned, tractor data (if available) such as consumption can be collected via the ISOBUS connection.
- The pre-installed unit (with SIM card) collects sensor data and transmits it wirelessly and in real time via the internet to your AVR Connect platform.
- The platform visualizes the data in a comprehensible way.
- It is not only possible to monitor certain functions remotely, but also to install software updates remotely.
Size measurement on Puma 4.0
To gain a detailed insight into what is harvested in the field, AVR has integrated a digital size measurement system on the Puma 4.0 self-propelled potato harvester. This system utilizes a camera mounted on the bunker filling web to determine potato size during harvest.
The images are processed through AVR Connect, and the gathered data can then be displayed in two ways.
The size measurement data can be displayed either as geospatial or matrix data. The geospatial data provides an overview of which potato sizes are harvested in each zone of the field. The matrix structure gives an overview of the different sizes (length and width) of the potatoes as a percentage of the total harvested quantity of a trip or field. All data ranges within the matrix can be dynamically adjusted based on specific customer needs.
The AVR size measurement system allows for a fully digital size outlay of the harvested potatoes.
